This week is the second week of September, already. There's actually a good number of things going on this week! First of all, I'm helping my mama out at the deli all this week for lunch. Secondly, I'm now 3 weeks into training for the half-marathon and need to keep pushing myself. So far, I've been slacking off big time and need to whip my ass into shape. I must conquer 6 miles by the end of this week, must. On Thursday, there's an event at Tiffany's & Co. hosted by my blogger crush Aimee Song so I'm definitely going to attend that. Plus, events are always great networking opportunities to meet people and get my blog more exposure!
In bigger news, this week is the continuation of NYFW! That is actually where I should be but oh well... next year, for sure. That's this week in a nutshell! Bye bye.

Day 12 : What’s in your bag, in great detail
What's in my bag, you ask? A lot of pink pouches.
To keep all my things organized, I generally carry a lot of sub-compartments because I have a lot of stuff. So for one, I have my wallet where I keep all my cards and money (obviously), and some receipts for the "just in case" moments (just in case I want to return something, just in case the bar overcharges me, which has happened to me before, etc.) and my Korean U-SIM card (don't ask... it said "in great detail"). Then I have my little YSL "makeup, etc." pouch in which I keep my touch-up makeup and things I may need in case of emergency, such as a bandaid, Abreva (you just never know...), floss, hand cream, body cream, bobby pins and tampons. I also randomly found a thing of stamps in the side pocket. And a random receipt from my recent trip to Kogiya BBQ and a Seoul Taxi pen (no, I did not steal this from Kogiya). My last pink pouch is my leather business card holder--something I scored in Korea and I absolutely loveeee--which I usually try my best to remember to take around with me because you just never know who you'll end up meeting! And that's what's in my bag, in great detail. The end!

Day 11 : Your siblings, in great detail
So my sibling also happens to be my best friend.
And since I've already written about her here,
I'll just share an updated photo of her.

Day 09: Your beliefs, in great detail
My beliefs are pretty simple. I believe in God. I believe He has a plan for each and every one of us. I believe everything has a purpose behind it, whether we can understand it or not. I believe in the good in people's hearts. I believe in second chances. I believe in love. And I believe he is out there, somewhere. The end.

Day 08: A moment, in great detail
So this 30 day challenge stopped at Day 7, and here I am continuing it... only 3 years later. I think one of my older posts mentions this somewhere as well but, better late than never?
Okay so carrying on to the subject matter at hand--a moment, in great detail. Let's see... okay, got it.
Last Saturday, I attended my friend's beautiful wedding, which was held at the Westfield Marriot. The wedding was semi-intimate with a guestlist of around 120 I'd say? That's just a guess. The ceremony was sweet, cocktail hour consisted of a lot of small talk, and the reception was great, as usual. Some moments I always look forward to at weddings are the following: finding out who is at your table, the moment the food comes out to see if it's yummy or not, open bar (obvi), and the bouquet toss. So at this particular wedding, I was happy with the table seating, the food wasn't great because I could barely cut into, let alone chew my steak, open bar was perfect, and even the bouquet toss was glorious!
Being somewhat competitive in nature, I always look forward to the bouquet toss. Ever since I caught my first bouquet, it's not something I shy away from. And when I don't catch it, I feel annoyed. So when the DJ calls the single ladies to the dance floor, you better believe I'm the first one up there--with no shame what-so-ever. Gotta get the best spot, front and center, right? ;) So true to form, I was one of the first girls up there at this wedding when it came time for the bouquet toss. I stood up there in my favorite spot (front and center) amongst maybe 15-20 girls--to be honest, I didn't even look behind me--and when the bride did the first fake-me-out toss to see who of the girls would dive for it, I barely even flinched. I mean, I've only done this thing like 10 times or so... So the second time, when she threw that bouquet up in the air, I jumped up and slightly to the right to grab it. It really should've gone to this other girl, but I kind of "got in the way". The bouquet landed in both of our hands and naturally, I yanked it out of hers! Let me tell you, it felt great. That rush when you catch the bouquet (or snatch it from another girl... same thing) is like nothing else. Not only did you win, you also have the hope of getting married and you get to look forward to see who catches the garter! Sometimes, you wish you didn't catch the bouquet depending on who catches the garter, but this time, it was okay. I mean, I did have some history with the guy but it was all in the name of fun, for the sake of our friends--the dear bride and groom.
So that was my moment in great detail! Catching my fourth bouquet. On to the next!
